The Moi Rewards Program: 5 Great Stores to Save In

With the moi rewards program, you can earn points at Metro, Jean Coutu, Super C, Brunet and Premiere Moisson stores, for a total of 900 locations. Membership is free, and as soon as you have 500 points, you can redeem them. We bet you’ll be racking up points fast if you shop at these stores! Competition with other rewards programs, such as Scene Plus, is fierce! Metro even teamed up with the Royal Bank of Canada to offer a new credit card that lets you earn moi points much faster! It’s called the moi RBC Visa card.

Where can I collect and redeem points?

In Quebec, the moi program is available at all participating stores including Metro, Super C (only on offers in store and via coupons activated on your profile), Jean Coutu, Brunet and Première Moisson. In Ontario and New Brunswick, you can collect and redeem points at Jean Coutu pharmacies. Later in 2024, Ontario’s Metro and Food Basics stores will also offer this reward program.

    How do I sign up?

If you ever were a member of the Metro & moi program, you automatically benefit from the new moi program and you can continue to use your old card. The good news is that you won’t have to wait for your rebate coupon in the mail!

If you’re not already a member of Metro’s program, you can sign up now. To register for the moi rewards program, follow the steps below:

    1. Visit the moi rewards program website.
    2. Click on “Enroll Now” and “Register” to begin the registration process. You’ll receive a code to confirm your e-mail address.
    3. Create a password for your account and log in.
    4. Fill out the registration form with your personal information, such as your full name, e-mail address, phone number, year of birth and mailing address.
    5. Select whether you’d like to receive (or not) exclusive offers and promotions by email or text message.
    6. Click on “Submit” to finalize your registration. You’ll then get your virtual card, which you can add to your digital wallet or use in the My Metro app.

If you’d prefer to request a physical card from an employee at a participating store, that’s also possible! However, you’ll need to activate your account online before collecting your first points.

Once you’re registered, you can start collecting points by making purchases in participating stores. You can also access your account online or via mobile applications to check your points balance, view current offers and redeem your points for rewards.

    How do I earn points?

Once you’re registered, you’ll generally earn 1 point for every dollar you spend, in a variety of ways. You can earn points by shopping at participating stores, including Métro, Jean Coutu, Super C, Brunet and Première Moisson. The number of points you can accumulate depends on the products you buy and the total amount of your purchase. Every dollar you spend equals one moi point, except at Super C, where you earn points based on available offers.

You should also participate in in-store promotions for cardholders and activate your coupons on the app. It’s important to check regularly for current offers and promotions to maximize your points. An easy trick is to log in every week and go to the My Coupons tab to activate them all. Then you don’t have to think about them anymore to get them applied!

Using the moi RBC Visa credit card is another great way to collect points more quickly. In fact, you’ll double your accrual rate, in addition to other benefits. In fact, you’ll be able to earn points every time you use your card to make purchases in or outside participating stores.

You should also be aware that there are some exclusions. Tobacco products, lottery tickets, public transit fares and cards, prescription drugs and health care services, gift cards and other prepaid cards, stamps and postal services do not let you earn points. The same applies to dry-cleaning, movie and video game rentals, any deposit and eco-participation fees, SAQ products or alcoholic beverages outside Quebec, order fulfillment and delivery fees, donations, utensils for ready-to-eat products and certain products offered on other platforms by partners.

    How do I redeem points?

Once you’ve accumulated a minimum of 500 points (a value of $4), you can redeem them at any participating store to reduce your bill. Partial redemption is permitted as long as you have the minimum 500 points. You must redeem your points in increments of 125 points ($1). The maximum is 25,000 points to redeem, or $200 in rebates. Points never expire and can be redeemed at any time.
