11 Incredible Credit Cards Welcome Offers in July 2024

A welcome offer is a bonus offered for new credit card sign-ups, with the goal of attracting new customers. Welcome offers are often offered in a variety of forms, such as cash back, bonus points or waiving the annual fee for the first year. But the best credit card is not the same for everyone, since we all have different needs. So you shouldn’t choose a credit card just to get a gift or points, or whatever. However, if you have a choice between two similar credit cards and one of them has a welcome offer worth hundreds of dollars, let the better offer win!

    1. Scotiabank Platinum American Express: up to $2,100

    [Offer productType=”CreditCard” api_id=”62c4512c8e710d4f783b951c”]

This card isn’t for everyone’s wallet, but Scotiabank’s American Express Platinum credit card has a great welcome offer. If you open your account before October 31, 2024, you’ll earn a $2,100 bonus in the form of 60,000 Scene + points. These will be paid to you on condition that you make qualifying purchases of at least $3,000 in the first three months (for 50,000 points), and a total of $10,000 in purchases over the first 14 months (to get the other 10,000 points).

An interesting feature of this card is its low interest rate on purchases and cash advances. It’s only 9.99%! Perfect if you’re spending a lot in a short time.

With the Scotiabank American Express Platinum card, earning rewards is easy. It earns 2 Scene+ points on every dollar you spend, no matter what you buy. You also get 10 free airport lounge visits per year. The card includes comprehensive insurance coverage for travel, car rentals and mobile devices.

Eligibility requirements: Note that no minimum income is indicated on the Scotia website to obtain this card, but it’s advisable to apply only if your income or assets are high, to make it worth your while. As with all Scotiabank welcome offers, if you already have a credit card or are an employee of Scotia, you cannot get this offer.

Benefits include no currency conversion fees and six free airport lounge visits with Visa Airport Companion.

Eligibility requirements: The welcome offer of the Scotia Passport Visa Infinite card is certainly tempting, but be aware that annual income of $60,000 (individual) or $100,000 (family) is required to obtain the card.
